It’s a rainy Friday and less than a week until vacation, so I’m keeping things pretty chill with today’s blog post. A couple weeks ago, I asked my Instagram followers to submit questions they had for me. If you’re interested in learning a bit more about me, keep reading!
How many cruises have you been on and what was your favorite?
I have been on 19 cruises—15 with Royal Caribbean—and recommend cruise vacations to everyone I know! My favorite cruise was our honeymoon cruise in May 2022 on Harmony of The Seas. I’ll link it, here. I love the Oasis-class ships and really enjoyed all the ports we stopped at. My top two cruise ports would be St. Maarten and St.Thomas—if I see a cruise is stopping there, I am more inclined to book!
What is your favorite book?
I don’t think I could pick one favorite, but there are a few that I love to recommend: The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V. E. Schwab, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid and The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
What did you study in college?
I went to school at High Point University for Electronic Media. Aka: video production and digital arts.
Will you ever make YouTube videos again?
Maybe! For those who may not know, I started YouTube when I was 13-years-old and became a YouTube Partner when I was 16. I recently lost my partnership (lol) due to not posting in a very long time. I toy with the idea of making videos again, but don’t think I could really add another project to my plate right now.
Do you still go to Burn Boot Camp?
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday! I started going to Burn in 2020, but began taking it seriously in May 2022. Fitness has changed my life in so many ways.
What restaurant would you recommend for a date night?
Lately, our favorite casual date night spot is BB’s Crispy Chicken. (They recently opened a new location in Cary!) However, if you’re looking for more of a full-service restaurant, we love Whiskey Kitchen or Taverna Agora.
