North Hills is located in the heart of North Raleigh. Whether you’re looking to eat, play, shop, or stay, North Hills has got you covered! You can spend a whole day just walking around and having fun here.
North Hills has three different ‘sections’ for you to explore. You can park your car in one of the many parking garages and set off on foot.
This travel guide will highlight of some of my favorite stops that I think you’d enjoy as well!
EAT
b.good-
At b.good in North Hills, you can find fresh, healthy handmade food. b.good partners with local farmers, producers, and artisans to bring you real it’s customers the best of the best.
b.good proudly advertises that their food is “made by people, not factories”. However, it’s still made quickly and delicious!
My two favorite dishes are the southwestern salad and the zucchini spaghetti with eggplant meatballs.
Coquette Brasserie-
Wanna take a quick trip to Paris? Check out, Coquette.
Coquette Brasserie is a true French Brasserie with classic bistro design centered around a magnificent zinc bar. They offer raw oysters, an all-French wine list, an original cocktail list, Belgian beers on draft and traditional brasserie fare.
I especially love going to Coquette for Sunday brunch. Their croissants and crepes are to die for.
Level 7-
Level 7 is a recent addition to North Hills. It is located on the rooftop of the AC Hotel and offers gorgeous views alongside a great menu.
You can expect an evening of small bites and unique cocktails. As well as a list of rotating wines and craft beers.
Level 7 is unlike any restaurant or bar in Raleigh. Surround yourself with a beautiful environment and get lost in good conversation and the music of weekly live entertainment.
Chuys-
No one does Tex-Mex better than Texas and Chuy’s was founded in Austin. So, you know it’s good!
I love Chuy’s with its bright colors and electric atmosphere. It’s such a fun and friendly spot to eat real Tex-Mex at a great price.
Stop by on Taco Tuesdays for the BEST nacho bar.
Starbucks-
A classic.
A great caffeine pick-me-up during your long day of play and shopping.
Make sure to grab a cake pop there as well.
PLAY
Midtown Park-
North Hills throws all kind of free events for the public to enjoy all Summer long! Midtown Park is located right behind Chuy’s and is typically the playground for all this Summer fun.
On Wednesday nights, you can stop by for Wellness Wednesdays. North Hills host various workout classes for you to get your exercise on. While on Thursday, North Hills transforms into a dance floor for Midtown Music Festivals.
The CW22 (where I work) also takes part in a couple events here. Back in May, we hosted our Wine Festival in this location 🍷
Blown Away-
Every time I go to Blown Away, I leave feeling like a princess. Blown Away is a Blow Dry bar where you can go for a beautiful, healthy blowout. For extra $$$, they will also style your hair or do your make up.
It’s time to pamper yourself and Blown Away is the place to go.
Orange Theory-
Orange Theory is an AMAZING high-intensity interval workout that has you rowing, running, and weight-lifting for an hour. OT just opened up in North Hills and I highly suggest you try it out! Your first class is free, so why not?
If you haven’t read my post on my Orange Theory experience, you can here.
Kings-
Kings is the coolest bowling alley around town. Because it’s not your typical bowling joint!!
You can also find great food, a fully-equipped bar, and fun games like pool and ping-pong. It’s easy to lose track of time in this place.
Hey sisters, stop by on Thursday for Ladies Night discounts and fun.
Regal North Hills Stadium-
This movie theater is fabulous with its comfy recliner seats and extensive concession stand.
I’ll sure be relaxing in style while seeing Incredibles 2 this weekend.
SHOP
Lou & Lou-
Lou & Lou is my ALL TIME FAVORITE store! I can easily spend 200$ a visit here. Just last week, I came out of Lou & Lou’s with 2 new dresses, earrings, a necklace, and sunglasses. I basically want to take the whole store home with me.
Besides accessories and clothes, they sell lotions, candles, wallets, etc. I even got my adorable passport cover from here. Everything is so darn cute!
Basically, I’m Lou & Lou’s #1 customer. They need to sponsor me.
Kendra Scott-
I am 99.9% positive that you’ve heard of Kendra Scott before because her jewelry is incredibly popular!
Stop in Kendra Scott for all your accessorizing needs. Kendra Scott makes gorgeous earrings, bracelets, necklaces, etc. Kendra Scott is a bit more expensive but worth the splurge.
Monkee’s-
I am bananas for Monkee’s. Monkee’s is another fabulous clothing boutique you can spend hours in. You can browse from a variety of the world’s hottest designers, including: Tory Burch, Tibi, Loren Hope, Alice & Trixie, Amanda Uprichard, Joie, Frye, Tom Ford, Jack Rogers, Cosabella, Susana Monaco, Splendid, Ella Moss, Seven for all Mankind, AG Jeans, Joe’s Jeans, Sheila Fajl, and so many more!
STAY
Park Central-
Park Central takes the cake on the best apartment complex in North Raleigh. It is located in the heart of North Hills and offers luxury living, amazing amenities, and always something to do. I am jealous that I don’t live here.
Amenities include a saltwater swimming pool, a gym, a sauna, a doggy spa, shuttle service throughout North Hills and monthly events. My mouth dropped when I first walked in and stayed open throughout the whole tour.
The rooms were absolutely gorgeous with their floor to ceiling windows. As were their outside areas. The pool deck and Zen Garden offered plenty of places to soak up some sun in a beautiful setting. I felt like I was back in Beverly Hills when I was lounging out there.
I’ll let me photos I took while I was there speak for themselves though.

The view from that hotel is gorgeous! I wish I was on that patio right now haha!
That “stay” looks amazing! What a luxurious way to vacation. I love places with open balconies and outdoor living areas. Nothing better than taking in fresh air for a relaxing weekend.

My girls would want to drop a soccer ball at that park. I’d love to try Chuy’s – heard lots of good about it. Every day can be Taco Tuesday if you try hard enough.
Looks like a one stop shop. I love seeing more and more restaurants using local foods. That garden has the most amazing views! Love it! I have never thought about a trip to Raleigh, but now Im thinking its a must!
I love that you can find fresh, healthy, and handmade foods. Plus the hotel is ❤️! After all the travelling, walking to and fro, all we need is a good mattress and a nice air conditioned room.
I’ve never heard of North Hills, but it looks like a gorgeous area! I totally need to get to North Carolina soon.
