I am absolutely obsessed with my dog, Kona and feel no shame about it. Mostly because I know a lot of other dog parents feel the same! We find nothing wrong with giving our dog’s the very best. I spoil Kona with toys, treats, and other goodies —only because she deserves it! Therefore, I put together a list of essentials every dog lover needs! Some of these things are for your furry friend, while others are for you 😉
1. I Just Want To Hang With My Dog Shirt
I love my dog SO much and I want everyone in the world to know it! You too can exclaim it by wearing this shirt. Plus the shirt is Bella brand, so it’s super comfy and cute.
The best part— 20% of your purchase will be donated to a local Chicago animal shelter! TheDailyTay, the Etsy shop’s owner, has donated more than $7,000 to Felines and Canines shelter since designing this look.
No better way to say, “Oh, you want to hang out Friday night? I’ve got plans.” With someone who has a wet nose and furry ears.
2. Friendship Collar
All my friends know I’m the crazy dog lady so they always buy me dog related items for special occasions. One friend bought Kona and me friendship collars for Christmas this year!
Kona got a collar and I got a matching bracelet. We have the matching “Pedigree Princess” set but the collars come in various designs.
3. Print Your Pet Socks
I think these are so darn cool! You can actually make your dog a part of your wardrobe now! These socks will give you maximum comfort and style.
You upload a pic of your pet, they recreate the photo by hand, then print the artwork using a high heat pressure system onto the sock. I’m not the only one amazed by this, right? (Print Your Pets also does this with blankets, shoes, phone cases, etc.)
4. NaturVet Treats
I’ll be the first to admit it… Kona is totally spoiled! However, I like to buy things she enjoys but that will also keep her healthy! That being said, I love NaturVet! These treats are yummy (at least Kona thinks so) and keep her coat nice and shiny.
Back in September, Kona kept losing fur and these treats were recommended to me. Ever since she’s had no problems! NaturVet also has tons of other great products.

5. Interactive Doggy Game
Dogs are consistently growing and learning too. It’s important we keep them physically and mentally healthy. An easy way to do so is by purchasing a doggy game!
This game is an interactive dog feeder that would challenge your dog to work for its food. Games like this make your dog think while having fun at the same time! Plus the interactive game helps slow Kona’s eating down.
6. Freshener Spray
Of course, my dog sleeps in our bed with us every night. She is such a bed hog and sometimes her snoring wakes us up. But I wouldn’t want it any other way!
Unfortunately, I can’t give Kona a bath all the time so sometimes she can get a bit smelly. (*gasp* A princess?! Smelly?!) I like to freshen her up with a little spritz of puppy perfume. This Lavender & Mint Dog Spritzer smells great!! So when we cuddle up together at night she smells wonderful.
7. Dog Ball
This is Kona’s new favorite ball! This ball is great because it keeps her entertained for hours. The outer ball has another ball inside of it that makes it go all wibbly wobbly! So, when you through right… it’ll go left!
She loves chasing after the ball as it goes all different directions! It’s also the perfect size!
8. Coffee Mug
Kona wakes me up early every day and mornings can be RUFF. Thank God for coffee! However, this coffee mug gets me motivated and ready to start my day.
I just want to drink coffee, save animals, and take naps. Is that too much to ask for?
All that’s left to do now is show off just how much love you have for your fur-baby! Hey, come on, dogs are nicer than most humans.

O.M.G. I am forever endebted to you for sharing the “print your pup” socks! Those are literally my two favorite things in this world: my dog and socks! Plus, now I have a birthday gift for all of my dog lover friend!!! ❤??
Uhm… that shirt is adorable!! And I would love to order a pair of those sucks for my bf who is literally obsessed with our Buster–thanks for sharing!
Xoxo
Thank you so much for this! I’ve been looking for things to entertain my youngest dog, Luna. She’s 1 year and 3 months and lately has been chewing a lot of stuff she’s not supposed to. I’m so getting her that dog ball, it will be perfect her. As for my other dog, Frijola (a black lab), I think she’s going to be thrilled with the NaturVet Treats! I need to get her the freshener spray too! (for obvious reasons, lol). Loved this post! 🙂
OMG i am dog obsessed so I loved this post!! I need that tee in my life like now lol!
These are all so cute. I LOVE that shirt. I do love hanging out with my dog and just relaxing. That collar and bracelet combo is adorable. I’ve never seen anything like that. I also really love the refreshing spray! My dog could use that!

I love that coffee mug! We have kitties but I’d like to adopt a dog someday. We have a perfect backyard for one!
May I please have one of everything? Kthxbye. LOL
I’m such an animal/dog lover, one would almost call me obsessed. 🙂 The tshirt is pretty awesome, so are the socks and the mug.
I came across a funny meme the other day that said, “I’m in a really good place right now. Not emotionally or spiritually. Just on my couch with my dog.” Pretty great, eh? 🙂
I LOVE your dogs’ ears. <3
Have a lovely weekend hun. 🙂
I don’t have a pet but these gifts would be so great for the dog lovers in my life!!

That interactive doggy game is so cool! I have never heard of one. I need to get my parents one for their dog!
My dog has the interactive dog treat puzzle and loves it. We give it to him when we have to go out for awhile, so he’s not bored. The treats are always gone!
I think those friendship collars are adorable!
Oh my gosh these are all such cute finds! Love them!
Hm, I don’t have a dog (never have), but that graphic T-shirt is pretty funny! I think it’d be even more ironic if I wore it, considering I don’t have a dog. LOL
I am loving these options! That mug is adorable!!! I so want it!
That friendship collar is so cute haha! Love the mug too!
Omg i love all of these. I used to have the shirt version of that mug saying but I washed it wrong and all the words came off =/ That game is really cool. I think my pups need to work a little harder for their treats, lol. My older dog will literally go out to the deck to “pee,” walk right up to the door without even going downstairs and scrape to get in- we’re like no you don’t get a cookie for just walking outside!! Hahaha *thegoodthingscomin.wordpress.com
I think the friendship collar is the most adorable thing ever… This is a great list. I want to try that spritzer.
These are all so cute!!! Love the idea of the friendship collar!
